A Graphical Perception Study
Reinforcement Mechanism for better understanding of Hypnograms
Brief and frequent glances govern the information visualized by self-tracking devices. We aim to improve the speed and maximize interpretation of information by users by minimal cognitive efforts. Here we have taken the visualized data of FitBit devices. We have designed 4 alternative information reinforcement mechanisms to help user grasp information faster and in more accurate manner. We conducted user testing by measuring 5 base parameters in a semi-structured interview with a survey to understand their interpretations.
