An Interactive Data Visualization

This complete web-page provides an interactive multi-visualization of US foreign trade data. The dashboard on top helps us control the overall annual and also item specific trade information. The interactive US map was structered so as to provide user an intuitive visualization. By providing the select state option on US map it gives us a state focused approach to covey information by breaking dataset into helpful morsels. The other 3 visualizations are dependent on the state selection in the first. The interactive world map on hover of country gives the trade partners of selected state and are color coded depending upon value of trade. Across all states and formats, we honed in on a templated approach to structuring the content, helping advance the visual communication by making room for consistent easy of communication and data visualizations. We designed this my aiming to help answer all possible questions a user could have towards such a data set.
